Canned Food Cartoning Machine
This machine is ideal for flexible operations that require manual or mechanical intermittent product infeed at relatively slow rates. It can process up to 30 packages per minute depending on the type and size of the box and product to be packed. To briefly describe the functions of the machine, the flattened carton stacks are placed into the magazine of the machine and the products to be packaged on the product conveyor by a person manually and then the machine is started. The machine takes one folded carton from the magazine and erects it to prepare for filling. At the same time the products are automatically grouped, positioned on the feeding line and then pushed onto the carton from its open end. At the oncoming stations, the carton is wrapped and the flaps are sealed automatically, thus the packaging is completed.
