Horizontal High Speed Cartoning Machine
It has been designed for high speed packaging of various products. Operation speeds up to 130 packages per minute can be achieved with this machine, depending on the choice of box and product. It is a compact cartoning machine, especially for mass production, offering solutions for a wide range of industrial sectors, with its highly functional horizontal layout and favourable features such as quick change mechanisms, rotary picking-forming apparatus and large capacity carton magazine. Its hygienic stainless steel structure makes it also suitable for food and pharmaceuticals packaging applications.
To give a brief description of the machine, the knock-down flat carton cases are placed in the magazine unit of the machine while the products onto the product conveyor by means of a robotic or mechanical loading system. The machine takes one folded carton from the magazine, erects it and puts onto the conveyor to prepare for filling. At the same time the products are automatically grouped and positioned on the feed line and then top-loaded into the carton box. At the oncoming stations down the line, the flaps of the carton are automatically sealed as requested and the packaging operation is thus completed.
