Intermittent Motion Packaging Machine
Ideal for flexible operations, the machine require manual or mechanical intermittent product feed at relatively slower rates. The machine can produce up to 30 packages per minute depending on the choice of box and product. It is suitable for a wide range of industrial packaging applications, including particularly food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics sectors, and can be adapted to specific needs of the customers, thus offering customised solutions.
Before starting the machine, knock-down flat cardboard cases are placed into the blank magazine, and the products into the slots on the infeed conveyor of the machine by an operator. Upon starting the machine, a flat case is picked from the magazine, erected and positioned with one side open on the case transfer line, all automatically. Synchronized with this, the product is simultaneously carried in the product line and side-loaded into the case. At the subsequent stations, the flaps of the carton on both sides are closed automatically and sealed as requested (sealing with adhesive tape or hot melt glue application).
